NEED HELP FORMATING MARATION SONGS TO ITG R21

I really want to put this awsome maration song I found on itg at my local arcade.

I've tried lowering the bitrate and using the ogg length patch. It's still over 5mb

what can I do to play the song?

I need help thanks.

If you can't manage to lower more the file size without getting an evident loss of audio quality, there's nothing you can do.
But, if you don't care about the audio quality and still want to play the song, try decreasing the bitrate even more.

Well How long is the song?

and you might want to decrease the quality of the song to about 92kbps if applicable

And make sure your version is R21
Because it seems as if only r23 would have that problem

From what I know, r23 stops the music at 120 secs, but the steps continue.
So, if you have a 5 minute long patched song, you'd play 3 minutes without music.

Make the song Mono. You're not likely to notice the difference in an arcade.

It would cut off at 120 secs all together. try it in an r21 machine. with the r21, it might not cut off because the 2 minute issue wasnt solved until r23.

other than that i really dont know. unless you can patch the song so it would only play 2 minutes

I'm just having a hard time getting it under 5mb.

I just think i'm not doing something right.

how do I do that?

There should be an option to do so in whatever program you're using to convert the audio to OGG. I know it's there in Goldwave, which is what I use.
