Yeah, DDR pre loads all the steps and music BEFORE the song starts. It's not much like IIDX.

It doesen't say anything about being legit, just if its possible

But i think a theme would work properly as long as its themed for SM 4.0 because thats what I think ITG2 is running from

but this is still wrong...

and is not condoned my this forum...

Ok, just from glancing at those pics . . .

You'll need to rewire the pads with an actual DDR I/O board.
(EDIT: I can't remember if DDR used the I/O board to consolidate the switches in each panel into one signal per, or if it just tidied up the wiring and each switch has its own place on the JAMMA deal . . .)

For the monitor you'd need a way to convert the RGB signal to VGA. (or get a shittier monitor hah)

Speakers are still the same?

I think that should be it.

Again, short answer is yes, but you'll have to do some research/work to get it done.

It'd likely be possible, but by no means easy, and definately not worth all the effort involved. On a sidenote, the sensors on a DDR machine are each separate, and if you go into the input test in the operator menu, you get to see something along the lines of p1upleft, p1updown, p1upup, p1upright as the four sensors in player 1's up arrow. This makes it a lot easier to narrow down which sensor might be giving you problems, and is one of my complaints about ITG.

I don't have access to an ITG2 Dedicab, but depending on how they dealt with combining the sensors all into one input per arrow, there'd probably be a lot of work involved just rewiring that. Basically, if you don't already have a very good understanding of the ITG2 cabinet and the hardware that DDR Extreme uses, as well as a fair bit of experience with arcade machines' internals in general, this isn't going to be something you're capable of. You might be better off refurbishing your DDR Extreme cab, they can look quite nice with a bit of effort, and are quite sensitive when the machine isn't totally abused, like most of the machines that don't get proper maintenance.

That sounds like to me a Upgraded DDR cabinet to ITG1/2 with all the stickers and USB shit on it and then it was DOWNGRADED from ITG1/2 back to DDR and they were dumb enough to leave the USB and all the Roxor stickers on it. If you ask me.

If your talking about the PowerPlay here in KC thats a DDR cabinet.

Dedicabs do have JAMMA located on the right side of the boxor. http://media.rhythmatic.net/gallery/...?g2_itemId=155 (you still cannot see the actual connector in that picture, only the wires)
