Default Sound Quality On Custom Songs.

I just made two sm files recently and tried them out on the local arcade machine last night. The sm files are exactly the way I made them; steps, synching, and stuff. However, the volume of the music was quite low. I couldn't hear the music very well. Can anyone give me some insight on how to resolve this? I'd like to thank them in advance.

Put the sound file into a sound editor (goldwave, audacity*) and increase the volume. Save the file.
*Note: To increase volume in audacity, the command is called amplify

Where do I type the command? What option do I choose? Do I need to open up a word document?

Just us Audacity it's very simple. Highlight the entire song, select effects, choose amplify and bump up the volume.

if you use goldwave, there is usually something that pops up on the side that lets you control the volume of the song. i've never used the other program mentioned, so i don't really know which one would be easier.
