Kyle Ward did change Moon from a 10 to a 9, mostly because it didn't have the 16th note clusters typical of a 10. But it's still difficult.

The best thing you can do to pass those harder songs is to really familiarize yourself with the stepcharts! Play them at home on the keyboard using Stepmania, OFTEN. You save a lot of stamina by being able to play loose instead of tense. That's what is helping me greatly, at least~

Sometime ago I was stucked on expert 9's too.
I think the best things to do are

• Learn to READ the stepcharts you can do it with stepmania playing 11-15's
• Work on STAMINA you can do it playing a lot without stops or practising other sports (swimming, running, maybe climbing
• Sleep much before this because I suck much more when I'm tired

But what U should do is that when you're playing ITG, once U reach the final round, try to push your limits, besides if u fail, u won't get amy more chances, because the game would be over anyway

My first 10 was D-Code
It's not that hard, even on my first try, i got around 80% when I tried it

hmm.. my problem sems to be the opposite of this guys, i am great with hands and jumps, getting fast enough for any 16th stream above 170 bpm seems impossible for me though.

what can i do to work on that?

like for speed?

lol i free style Dawn when it comes to the hands, as many people agree the hands in Dawn are easier, than the ones in Queen of light due to mines.

how i free style Dawn is, when the freezies are on the up and right arrows, and you have to bend backward to hit the left and down, and the last two notes of that section i twist my whole body around, kind of like a roll, keeping my foot on the up and right arrows, but now my back is facing the screen where as i hit the last two notes to get up to get the 2 of 5 set of arrows that come up after. Dawn is fun and so is Queen of light when your free styling it. I frankly can pass them consistently like 80% ish, i don't really go for high scores because i don't want to lol. so far i haven't pass beyond a level 10 or aka 10 steps. meh =_=

He is also right about D-Code... Thats REALLY Easy..

But my Very First 10 was Mosquito By Dj. Aligator Project...From cmcm originals... That was Ridiculously Easy The only hard part was the Tripplet Run in the middle before the Freeze arrow but if you try that you can gett of 9's. When i did it.. i was through with the 9's for a while.
