Marketplace Rating: 2 | what do you consider "Pro" I decided to make a thread seeing what you guys think it takes to be deemed a pro at playing in the groove.
I think as long as you can pass a 13, and almost always get star rating (depending on how difficult the song is) while you play, you are pro.
So what do you guys think? What shows that you, or someone else is pro?

Marketplace Rating: 0 | I know Bubbles personally, and I would definitely consider him pro; he currently has a record of 99.5x on Summer Expert, and I've seen him pass some bonafide 14's he's loaded onto the machine with flying colors. It was wild.
I think the cutoff for pro would probably be consistently getting 80+ on the 13's, ~75 on Vertex^2. Also, I think a pro should know how to play doubles decently well, in order to be well rounded; something like passing 12's consistently.

Marketplace Rating: 2 | actually not many "Pro" players really play Doubles (from what i see). I mean you dont have to, and many never wont, and if Pro players do, they play it for fun, not as much for the scores (like me, its fun, but nothing I would do for scores, it just helps build stamina).

It's rare for some ITG pro's to play Doubles for score purposes =P
And, yeah, it is a good stamina builder

And, yeah, it is a good stamina builder | thats how I got to pas Summer, I practiced on Doubles on easy songs to move around, and then if you swing right onto a single pad, you can surprisingly do it easily.

"And yeah the average ITG player S+es 12 footers."
Perhaps the average tournament player... I've been playing ITG for about 7 months now, I can pass some 10s, and I consider myself to be a little better than "average". Of course, I don't boast about my 1337 5k!llz, I say I'm decent if anyone comments on my playing, but then again I don't really live in an area where there are many players... Most people who play on the machine I use play in the 7 or under region... I'm one of the best players I personally know.. :\
I suppose "Pro" would constitute for the best of the best, IE tournament winners, but I also hardly consider myself to be sucky just because I'm not comparable to said players. :P

Marketplace Rating: 1 | Consider me harsh, but passing 13's is just a little above average. By "Pro", I'd assume you're referring to tournament material, and the only players that a higher tier player should have any concerns about should be able to atleast get a 96% or higher on most of the 12's, and consistantly 99% every 10 and below. Most 11's should also be at a consistant 99%, but I could understand exceptions that would lead to a 98%.
Then again, in Florida tournaments we have ties because we both quad starred a 10, so to each his own.
