Car pools from Boston?

Hey, my friend and I are looking to go to Bowl-mani Festival this year, and we're curious if there's anyone from the Boston area who's going on Wednesday that we can hitch a ride with. We can help out with gas, and we're small people, lol.

Also, if anyone knows this, what's the legal age for car rentals in MA? I'm 18 and he's 20, so if anyone could let us know what other options we have (other than a taxi), please let us know.

Second, I think the car rental age is for all states, and you cannot rent a car if you are under 25 years of age.

I just need to clarify this -- you CAN rent a car if you are between the ages of 21 and 25, you just get charged extra. I'm renting a car with no problems and I'm 23.
