Doing that nets you more than if you'd run out of OD and then refilled.
But yeah about 1.5x what it takes to get five stars is a pretty good estimate.

Total Tokens: 322,813.40 Donate Tokens | I find that if you don't get a first-try gold-5-star, it's still easy to get it by the second time on the easier songs. After one play, you know which sections have the greatest numbers of notes which you can easily FC. Long sections of chords are optimal places, usually, because you'll rarely mess them up when compared to a solo part in the same song, yet they usually have the same number of notes.
