AC/DC Live: Rock Band Track Pack

AC/DC Black Ice & No Bull

This was probably announced some time ago and is old news for a lot of you, but I just heard about it and it looks pretty cool.

However, I have two qualms: One, since it's WAL-MART exclusive, it's looking like we may not be able to purchase it over X-Box Live, and will have to get a copy in-stores, and two, it appears to actually be the album AC/DC Live, meaning that they'll be the live tracks and not studio recordings, which is a hang-up of mine.

Anyone is free to post more information as it surfaces (and by "free to" i mean "jesus christ please please lets do this post post post").

EDIT: Release date for North America is November 2nd, price is $40, $30 on the PS2.

This is, however, a really GOOD AC/DC live album, and is 99 minutes long total. (Uncut it'd be 120 minutes). Seventeen minute version of Let There Be Rock, here we come!

Since it comes out in November, I think I'll most certainly be getting it either way. To be honest, I'm not a huge AC/DC fan; I have great respect for their music and enjoy it, but I'm don't consider myself a true fan of the band. However, this disc encompasses every AC/DC song I have ever loved ever since I was a kid, and people who are saying that $40 for 18 songs isn't worth it just aren't that fond of AC/DC.

Apparently there's another track pack being released via disk (360 and PS3 also), and it's got its own set of achievements as well. Interesting. Rock Band could dethrone Halo in achievement points.

Did anyone else get this today? Allegedly, my WAL-MART is all out on release day, so I'm thinking that it might be the Canadian shipping syndrome...however, it is the same idiot I seem to get every time I call, so he could be just full of shit.

If they don't have it tomorrow I'm gonna cry like a little girl.
