Played Groundhog Expert for the first time today, 396348 w/4 stars and 2 lightbulbs.

After my first "tour" on Expert and got 74 songs 5 starred.
I'm generally bad at Beastie Boys songs and Rock It (but dang I love listening to Rock It).
...and Beats and Pieces butchered me, shameful 2 stars on my first play.

I love the fact that at least four of the names on that scoreboard are somehow tied to the Bemani community. I guess playing all that IIDX helped prep us all a little for the game.

I'm not much of a IIDX player (I main jubeat) but I think Konami music game experience does help.

Before I starting jubeat I couldn't even 5 star all songs on Hard in Guitar Hero 3 after weeks of playing.
Now I only have 12 mixes left to 5 star on Expert in this game.

I don't replay songs I've already 5 starred (I'm more interested in 5 starring the rest of the mixes atm) but this mix is fun.

On my third play:

Placed 1st on PS3 side but meh I don't care whether I place 1st or 4000th, I'm happy with my score.

Just got #3 on XBL on Scratch Perverts Presents. The highlight was the #2 score on Robot Rock/The Soul.

I got a 5 Star on Groundhog on Medium and then proceeded to 4 Star it on Hard.

Haven't gotten myself to Expert yet, but I think with a 4 Star on Groundhog Hard, I should be able to pass some of the stuff on Expert.

Also, why the HELL is Beats and Pieces so hard?! I did better on Groundhog than I did on it.

I want that hyperdeck cheat so badly. I think it'd help with telling apart the directional scratches in Beats and Pieces.

EDIT: Whoops, there's two more songs I haven't 5-starred yet. Fucking both of them are Beastie Boys songs. I'm not sure why the developers felt the need to make the scratching so retarded on some of these songs.
