ColorOfSakura // Groundhog on Expert is easier than on Hard. You'll 5 star Expert in no time. Took me like 6 plays on Expert to 5 star it.

I really want HyperDeck Speed too, why can't they just give it as a basic option in the game?

I have 9 songs left to 5 star on Expert.
7 of them 4 starred (4 of them Beastie Boys songs lol), Chuck Brown / Zombies 3 starred, and finally Beats and Pieces 2.8 starred.
My play count on those songs are like 4 each so I just need to play more I guess.

For some reason, Sabotage gives me TONS of random combo breaks. Only happens on that track and I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing wrong.
I even tried it on Hard and I still get combo breaks in scratch sections, it feels like the game doesn't recognize that I'm still holding down the button.

I'm not so sure as to what I would label as an achievement, compared to the other people who post here claiming that they 5-starred every song in the game on expert, but one (beats and pieces) BUT as a personal achievement, I'd say I'm quite proud of the fact that I started the game playing on Expert for every song, and that I'm still able to unlock all the bonus songs as well, though, I haven't played all the songs in the game just yet.

The first song in the entire game, besides the tutorial songs, I finally was able to score over 100,000 points on it. I was impressed with myself how I scored over 200,000 points in one song, though I can't remember which.

Boom Tap is the best song in the entire game just because it's unique. Also, both mixes of The Jackson 5/Third eye blind songs are awesome! I'm hoping that I'll be able to FC them sometime.

I think they are achievements if you are happy with it.

Whenever I improve my scores (no matter how small the points upgrade may be) I'm really happy and consider it an achievement even though I'm still technically 2 starring the song.

It feels fucking great to actually be in the top 10 of something lol.

Haven't been playing for like a week now, where's the hyperdeck speed cheat.

I'd give this game a 6/10, -2 for forced guitar auto play displayed on screen and -2 for not making hyperspeed an option.
If it came out without those two issues, would easily have been a 10/10 game for me.

Let me get this right: You subtract off TWENTY PERCENT because you don't get an option to make the game easier? And you subtract off another twenty percent because of a slightly annoying little graphical switch that shows up on not even twenty percent of the songs?

Iuno man, not having speed mods in a rhythm game nowadays is pretty much anathema.

There is a speed mod, but it's just a cheat, like it was for Guitar Hero 1-4. It took them until the 5th iteration to add it into normal play.

It's been 3 weeks and the hyperdeck speed cheat code still hasn't been released. I'm gonna ruthlessly take away points when the developers are intentionally messing with users.

Remember Beautiful Katamari? The content was on disc but the developers decided to prevent access to it unless people paid up. There was a major controversy over this and some people swore they'll never buy from Bandai Namco again.

Similarly, hyperdeck speed cheat is already in the game but the developers decided to prevent access to it until someone tries 2.5 million combinations in the worst case or whenever they feel like releasing the code.


And imagine IIDX chart area getting shrunk horizontally for no good reason when you pick certain songs.

Guitar auto-play getting forcefully displayed on screen adds jack shit to gameplay (note I said Guitar auto-play, this eliminates the cases where someone's actually playing Guitar) but takes away visuals.

Not only that, Guitar section is poorly charted I hear annoying miss noises on specific sections (don't know if it also happens on the 360 version but regardless) . It's worth taking off 20% since it significantly ruins gameplay.


Really, I loved this game but those two cons are making me almost hate it right now.

I am lagging behind you guys! I have 5 starred every song on hard and now going through expert. 5 starred most songs I have come across on expert so far (about 50 songs) with a few exceptions.

I don't understand why it can't just be an option. They program it in already, just make it a regular option
