Guitar Freaks has a "LEFT" mode that flips the button orientations, but GH lacks that... I think

After a while you'll get used to it, but it might be annoying to anyone to plays real guitar too. Perhaps a left-handed model could be offered as well, like how he offers 1P and 2P versions of his IIDX controllers.

Well, someone mentioned about a box that could be taken out and placed in with another, thus allowing for versatility of ease with the differences. That didn't quite solve the length issue, but it got me thinking. I'll just skip over the parts that don't really apply.
What about a detachable neck? Think of the standard IIDX controller that goes around. You can flip the turntable around if you don't like it on your left or right hand. This would essentially be the same, I guess, system wise. The neck gets pulled out and replaced with a different neck, being the length that has been agreed upon for the version that is being played, so multiple necks don't have to be created. A locking system would also be created, where the hinge of such a system is on the main area of the guitar, and would flip up, slipping into the neck and locking it so the system would not become detached when playing. That's a basic locking system. It could probably be improved upon.
Thoughts about that?
PS: Another thought upon the neck length is to have like... three extra fret neck pieces, allowing you to extend or shorten the neck to your liking. Each would have their own locking system attached. The problem with this? Makes the whole system less "stable" for playing, providing a higher chance of a snap occurring as you are playing.

We're talking about an ASC here, and when you're spending 200-300 dollars, I don't want anything coming apart, or having to lock in place. That's just more stuff that can go wrong or break or make the controller flimsy over time. I think I speak for most of the bemani community when I say that I want a solid quality controller that doesn't require you to mess around with multiple necks and fret additions and locking systems. It's not like the size of the controller is that big of a deal. You're not going to get the controller and say OMG THE NECK IS TWO INCHES LONGER THAN MY KOC HOW WILL I EVER GET USED TO THIS??

Maybe for a lesser version it's possible, but if you want something complete and solid, then go for it. I personally am fine with how big the GH SG is, though I might prefer it a little longer. It's just adjusting the strap after that, really.

Now I think neck length is slightly less important than width, I'd kind of want something a little thicker than a KOC or GH controller, but not as thick as a GF ASC, because that would rather severely impede with Guitar Hero play. So something sturdy, comfortable, but not thin as a toothpick.
Also in regards to the lefty issue, why not have a plug box for the whammy on either side of the pick? That way lefties can swap sides, and you can remove it entirely for playing Guitarfreaks. I could sketch something up in Photoshop really quick if my description sucks, of course, haha.

It's alot more simple to have a whammy that can be removed/moved than to make two whole separate models JUST over a whammy bar, plus, what if you're a lefty and you want to let your friend who plays right handed play on your controller?
