Does anyone use Xbox 360 headsets for vocals in Rock Band/GH WT?

Now I know GH:WT wasn't great in vocals, unless maybe it's the 360 headset I'm using (I only bought the Guitar pack for World Tour). The only song I did well on Expert was No Sleep Till Brooklyn because it didn't require pitch, and I think pitch control is messed up in the headsets. Does anyone play Rock Band/GH World Tour with them instead of USB Mics?

Not me. I used to, but then I found out that you can actually use the USB mic from a PS2 version of Karaoke Revolution onto the Xbox 360 no problem, so that works out even better. The headsets are crap, because there's a much bigger lag (at least with mine, anyway). The vocals don't respond until like a half of a second later and that gets really frustrating, especially when playing on Expert. And trust me, sing out of sync is nobody's favorite thing in the world. So yeah, if I were you, I'd be better off getting a mic. I've been using my PS2 Karaoke Revolution Presents American Idol mic for about 6 months now, it's worked out great.

Not at all. It is a little weird, isn't it? But then again, they say any USB mic works.

I use the mic from rock band off the PS2 lol, I didn't even know you could do that xD

Heh, lol I tried it out I was too lazy to plug in the mic so i had the headset in and tried it xD It worked I finished the impossible vocal challenge like that lol

I think the difficulty in GHWT ramps up a lot more than in RB2 in other words,the difference between "easy" and "medium" is greater in GHWT.I think GHWT arranges their songs better,but I like RB2's catalog more.That being said,the big investment is the instruments and they can be used for either game.So buy one with the instruments,and then later buy the other if you get into fake rock bands.

Also I'm locking this so (non-mod) people don't come in and go "lol spam bot lol" because that shit bothers me if it isn't in FB.
