Default Favorite Mixes?

Well, since we seem to be a bit shy on threads in this forum yet are not at all shy on people playing the game...

What are everyone's favorite songs in the game? Which are the most fun to play, which ones feature your favorite songs, which ones are the best made, etc.? Interpret the question as you will, but please explain your thought process in your choice.

I do not own the game (yet), but from what I've seen, that MC Hammer/Vanilla Ice mix is rather hilarious (STOPGOSTOPGOSTOPGOSTOPGO). That Shout/Pjanoo mix, meanwhile, is stuck in my head. Extremely catchy, that one. I really wish they'd release a soundtrack album of the game, because some of these mixes really are enjoyable even outside of the game.

(And don't tell me to torrent a game audio rip. First for the reason that discussing pirated media is a no-no, and second because I'm stuck with Comcast, who hate torrents, making it rather impractical.)

So. Favorite mixes. Get to discussing!

The Shout / Pjanoo remix is by far my favorite song on the game. It gets stuck in my head way too easily.

I also really like I Want You Back / Semi-Charmed Life and Disturbia / Somebody Told Me.

I love Disturbia Inferno. I thought what they did with that mix was just amazing!

I'd have to say that I have 2 favorite mixes, though they both use the same songs. It's those Jackson 5/Third Eye Blind songs. When I heard the first version of the mix, I instantly fell in love with it. It's so upbeat and happy, it makes me want to sing along with the mix. I really like the more upbeat songs in the game, mainly because it makes me energetic and excited to play them.

Although, this doesn't mean that I don't like the more beat/scratch/rap heavy songs. They have their own unique musical touch that gets me in a sort of trance, where I feel more persistent and more drawn into the game, in order to get that 5 star rating at the end.

Boom Tap is possibly the most unique song in the game so far. I love playing it because it's a funny concept for a song, plus it's also really fun to play, though the song is very short (~1:30).

Finally, Beats and Pieces, regarded as the hardest song in the game, is obviously, quite a challenge. I always love a good challenge, especially when I'm given the chance to actually play throughout the entire song without the song abruptly stopping part-way through, because I wasn't doing a good job or something. On top of that, I still get something of a rating, and a passing mark on the song, instead of a generic "FAILED" because I didn't fill up some bar or "groove gauge" all the way to a certain point by the end of the song...I really like to see that I still get graded for the parts I did well in, and the parts I didn't do so well.

Which makes playing Beats and Pieces very rewarding, to see that how I'm slowly progressing to that 5 star rating.

Six Days vs. Annie's Horn is so far my favorite mix in the game. It's not too hard, sounds awesome, and has a lot of fast scratching on Expert.

Jack of Spades/Short Circuit is my favorite. I don't have the game but I played it at a Best Buy store.

Groundhog is my favorite by far, but I'm partial to noisia to begin with. Beats and Pieces is amazing. Also, Boom Boom Pow/Satisfaction is a lot of fun to play as well as Nothing But You/I Can't Stop.

Boom Boom Pow vs Satisfaction is a match made in heaven. Those sound wonderful together. Groundhog is really addictive too.

I never liked liked music from Black Eyed Peas...specially Kid Cudi!

when I tried out their songs

the first one that got stuck in my head playing the rest of the day was BEP "Boom Boom Pow" vs Benny Benassi "Satisfaction"

then the next song in the set list was Kid Cudi "Day n Nite" vs Black Eyed Peas "Boom Boom Pow"

both of these songs where awesome...but the mix that stood out for me was the 3rd song in the setlist

NOISIA - Groundhog(Beat Juggle)

"c'mon...quit" - british guy in the song

at first it felt easy and by the end of the song it got really tricky...

(BTW, the first difficulty I tried was Hard because it was too easy just pressing three buttons)
