A GH2 Release Party in Northern New Jersey?

Is there anyone that lives in North Jersey who can come to the New Jersey Institute of Technology in University Heights, Newark, NJ, that is interested in attending a school club-run Guitar Hero 2 tournament on November 8th, 2006? if so, I found a little something on Facebook not too long ago that may catch your eye:

GUITAR HERO II RELEASE PARTY!

The Guitar Hero 2 Release Party will be hosted by BGA on Wednesday, November 8th, beginning at 9:15pm in the Cypress TV Lounge. The tournament will be single elimination. All are welcome, and members of BGA will be happy to sign visitors in for this event!

To play in the Guitar Hero 2 Tournament it's only $8 and if you win the tournament you get a Guitar Hero 2 Bundle: 1 PS2 game and 1 Guitar. More prizes may be announced. There will be free pizza!

This sounds like a cool event. If you need driving directions, the parking deck is located at 130 Summit Avenue in Newark. There are maps available (and also students) that will guide you to the Cypress residence hall.

How close is the school from Newark Penn Station? I've never been to Newark and I wouldn't feel that great about wandering alone for too long....
