Anyway, I like GH, it's just, in GH2 I think I've heard of about 3 tracks. Not to say every track on there is crap, but some of the really hardcore rock stuff, well, is. If RedOctane want to sell better, they should use songs that everybody, or most people, know. Like "I Love Rock and Roll" in GH1. In fact I'd say GH1 is better than GH2 at song list.
Anyway, post what songs you'd like to to see in the next one.
I would like The School of Rock song because it's a fun song and includes guitar solos and hard bits everywhere. Plus, everyone knows it! I would also like more Franz Ferdinand (eg. Michael). Stairway to Heaven would be fun, if long.

I'd go for some AC/DC or Led Zeppelin, but what I'm hoping for is either Crazy Train or something from The Clash. Maybe X would also work in GH.

I also would like to see some power metal, especially DragonForce or Stratovarius (early).
Some more thrash would be good, too, especially "Reign In Blood" (Slayer).

All good guitarists HATE stairway for that reason. Also Harmonix is having a hard time getting licenses for Led Zeppelin songs, which is why they say "NO STAIRWAY" in one of the load screens. I assume they're just giving up on Zeppelin songs. Would be nice, yes, but most likely won't appear.
As for songs on III, Tenacious D would be sweet, as mentioned before.

I would absolutely love some Freedom Call, but will NEVER ever happen. I'm sure none of you even know who they are.
If this, I will play GH...

I didn't buy GH2 on the grounds that GH2's setlist was too grunge/too focused on more hardcore songs. I loved the fact that there was a wide variety of songs on GH1 (can you say yay for Spanish Castle Magic and Sharp Dressed Man?) but GH2 just seemed... meh.
Arctic Monkeys, maybe? More Jimi Hendrix would be cool. I'd love to see the song Layla (I like that song. >_>) on GH3 and (Don't Fear) The Reaper would be awesome with that guitar solo in the song. A song by Thrice or Metallica would be godly as well. *crosses her fingers for Master of Puppets*

I just think they would sell much more if people actually new half the songs on them, hence they should have more popular artists.
