I think Crazy Train has a pretty decent chance of getting in, considering to follows along the classic rock that a lot of GH songs fit into.

Aerodynamic by Daft Punk would be fucking incredible

If I see "Crazy Train" one more time, I think I'm going to have to side with the very few that don't want it on there, just to ease ones ears from the constant onslaught of fanboys. Now, some songs I'd like to see:

Cromagnon - "Cadledonia"
Dismember - "Bleed For Me" or any of the other two opening tracks from Everflowing Stream...
Dissection - "Where Dead Angels Lie"
Sarcofago - "Midnight Queen"
Converge - any song really; it could be made very difficult, which would please me
Black Sabbath - "Hand of Doom"
Melvins - anything really, excluding the latest album
Dragonforce - "Through the Fire and the Flames" - You fucking know you want it on there.
Funkadelic - "Maggot Brain" - the greatest guitar solo of all time could make for an interesting "expert" run.

- Something from Minor Threat, Gorilla Biscuits, or one of the other aged punk gods.

- Something from Napalm Death's first two albums; something poppy as well - hell, I'd even take some Puffy AmiYumi.

- Something from Robert Fripp? Butthole Surfers? ...Slayer? The possibilities are endless for this game. As long as I don't see some gay ass Dream Theater or any other pre-pubescent cannon fodder, I'll be happy.

I'd pay 300 dollars for a Nightwish exclusive GH with original vocals and guitar but it's not happening in a million years

No, That's a reference to "Wayne's World". I'd actually like to see some Iron Maiden songs, seeing as they had the balls to rip off their stage technique in the second game. i'd also like to play "The Wizard", or perhaps any black sabbath song that didn't come off of Paranoid. I'd also like to play "Indians" by anthrax. Oh, almost forgot, "8th commandment" by sonata arctica

You know its funny this is the Guitar Hero 3 wishlist thread not flame people because they like their own style of music jesus christ...

Honestly id really like to see some Kamelot, Staind, Nightwish, CanonRock would be awesomely hard to do, and dare I say? Dance, Dance by Falloutboy. Why? because I think they could be really good if done right, I don't honestly care what anyone else thinks they seem like songs I would want in the game.

I'm quite happy "Hush" by Deep Purple is going to be in the 360, that scratches a song off of my list. Some things I'd like to see.

"Fire" by Jimi Hendrix
"Black Dog" or a shortened "When The Leevee Breaks" by Zep.
"Money" by Pink Floyd
"Don't Stop Me Now" or "Fat Bottomed Girls" by Queen
"Peace Sells" or "Sweating Bullets" by Megadeth
"Smokin'" by Boston
"Dirty White Boy" by Foreigner
Maybe some Frank Zappa for good measure?

I personally have quite a list of bands/songs I'd like to see in GHIII, though I doubt any of it will make it. Mindless Self Indulgence, Mastodon (I know its already in V2, but hey, Killer Queen was in GFDM too), Celldweller, Dream Theater, Killswitch Engage, He is Legend, Led Zeppelin (maybe not Stairway, but Black Dog would be nice), Dir en Grey, Daft Punk (Aerodynamic FTW), Godhead, Orgy (Blue Monday or Stitches).

I'd add more, but I'm tired and this seems like enough wanting for one post :-P

Not sure if this was mentioned yet, and don't feel like reading gobs of posts to find out. But for the record, WHAT THEY NEED IS SOME "IRON MAIDEN"-TROOPER.....PLEASE!!!!!!!

It'd seem to blend well with the general motif of the game.

I'm afraid I'm not particularly well-versed in the art of rock, but I suppose that since this is a wishlist thread I could put in my n00b suggestions.

Guerrilla Radio by Rage Against the Machine - It would probably be put in the first tiers since it sounds pretty easy, but I personally would greatly enjoy playing it.

I wouldn't mind some Nightwish or Iron Maiden. In fact, I was pondering a debate over at the Guitar Hero forums as to what the best last song would be. Bark at the Moon and Free Bird were good due to their difficulty and "epicness." From that criteria, I would want either Hallowed Be Thy Name by Iron Maiden or Master of Puppets by Metallica. It's a hard toss-up, but if they got the symphonic version of Master of Puppets for the final song, I wouldn't buy another version of GH, for they would not be able to top the sheer awesomesauce.

I just want Sultans of Swing by Dire Straits. Give me that and I can die happy.

I LOVE the solo near the end.

I love System of a Down, but I can't think of a song I'd really want to play on GH offhand.... something from their first(re: the least recognized, yet their best) album would be nice.

Probably the first track, Suite-Pee. I guess it's something more for a bonus than in the regular game though. It'd be too insane for regular play.
