Here's an interesting little fact: GH2 is getting a strategy guide. Even better, the guys at Luv2game (who are writing the guide) are allowing fans to send in interview questions, hopefully for inclusion in the guide!
People who're familiar with their other guides know there's always a fan interview section in the back, so if you've got burning questions you want answered, or just like your screen name in print, go toss some questions their way.

It's possible that the guide will contain notecharts for each song. Maybe even tabulature and lyrics.

This could be the first music game to ever get a strategy guide... it's a trend I wouldn't mind seeing more of.
I don't think I'll be getting it, but it's still cool to see.

Hmmmmmm. let's see....:
+ The devs. did say this will be harder than the original.
- Hammer on here, pull off there, double-strum like mad here. Yeah that might be most of the guide in a nutshell. 
- Get the living crap scared out of you looking at the note chart for the hardest GHII song on expert before you even play the game.
-Sooner or later we'll see a website like http://www.purplefrog.com/~thoth/guitar-hero/ anyway.

Most of the early Japanese DDR games got strategy guides made for them. I don't find it strange that GH2 is getting one. It'll just be note charts though with a little fluff thrown in on top of it. | |
