I know a lot of people are probably gonna just shun this aside because of what the Guitar Hero series has become, but like animekid said, you just can't pass up a whole Guitar Hero of Metallica. You just can't.

Entire Guitar Hero game for Metallica = more cool than gayyy.
But I think they should make genre Guitar Hero games....Instead of having a lot of different bands from different types of rock......they should have a lot of different bands from one kind of rock. So that way I won't have to play any gay music types.

see that sounds good, but then wont get EVERYONES money. With different bands, and different styles, people are forced into buying the game. I am actually pretrty surprised they are making band releases. I can see them flopping, and I am sure they will stop unless its something big like the Beatles. That would be nice to have different genre releases, but it wont happen, because we all know rock the 80's sold really well.

I will pass on Aerosmith, but I really enjoy metallica.

This particular game is a good idea. Metallica is well-liked and popular in most of Guitar Hero's key demographics. They're well known for innovative (at the time) guitar riffs and solos. However, this being produced by Neversoft means:
