Guitar Hero Thread

Since there didn't seem to have one, and the fact that there isn't a forum for it any longer, I will start one.

I no longer play the game on a frequent basis, but I do play every now and then. But I will get the new Guitar Hero II when it does come out.

Oh ya! I feel ya cuase I don't play as much as I used to just because I'm getting a bit tired of the songs. We need Guitar Hero 2 already and i need to get my guitar back from my ex! ahahahahahaha *oh god i have a sad life*

So I won a Cherry Gibson SG Guitar Hero controller. Official blog entry here. Apparently some people hate me for it, but I guess that's to be expected of winning a contest. I've never won a contest in my life until then. Woohoo.

I'm still stuck on those Face-Melters on expert. Godzilla complete. 97% on Texas Flood. Grr.

yeap, this game is excellent, at least these guys were thinking in people that likes this kinda music (like me) and I hope that GH II comes out quickly

I like it, I've only just brought the game but I'm already on Hard mode. My favourite chart is 'I Wanna Be Sedated' hard. <3

We should find a way to have a tournament sometimes becuase we're lonlely like that lol. We could play while being watched by web cams and broadcast the event! Idk just a thought.

Anyways what kind of mixes would you like to see? Somehow even though red octane is bought out by activision, I'm wishing for a j-rock mix!

First off, it's all about More than a Feeling.

Second, if we are wishing for fantasy mixes, I think it is safe to say that I would have a massive heart attack if an 80s Mix came out. Being able to play Twilight Zone by Golden Earring... Whoo, that would be awesome.

There's no frickin j-rock on guitar freaks. I mean here and there but not a whole lot.

Someone please help me get my damn guitar back from my ex! She won't give it back and i'm getting really pissy becuase i haven't played in a month!

hahaha yeah,
this game was fun while it was hard.
every now and then ill load up armax and use the trippolette cheat and play trippolette on expert for fun, but other then that, I'm really just waiting for GHII to come out.

i've played guitar hero twice... both at Fry's. if i wasn't so broke, i'd buy it.

Well, now it's finally starting to get somewhat close to the psychotic level that some of the Guitar Freaks songs are at. I still honestly despise the 3d interface that they use due to the fact that it's too alienating for me.

Yeah, the 3d interface is... meh.

But assuming that Expert is significantly harder than that, I think I'll enjoy the heck out of it.

Time will tell, I guess.

Still, I've been converted - I'm now planning on picking up GHII shortly after its release. (Though that's more because it has Freebird. I mean, damn.)
