okay so i got rock band for XBOX 360 and my girlfriend has it for PS2 (which uses the ps3 kit i'm sure you all know that) and i'm a little confused about something. her kit rolls perfectly. like i can retardedly beat the shit out of every drum head and it'll roll with every hit but my 360 kit is fucked to shit. i can't roll at all.
so i'll ask two things
(probably stupid) would a PS3 kit work on a 360?
and
if i ship off my 360 kit, will i get a working one?
1.) Use your brain.
2.) Most likely. The newer drum models register rolls really well; I was really glad i RMA'd mine since I had probably the same problem you are having. My new set works perfect.
since you're drumheads aren't working properly, yes, replacements are free. you could also try the tape method, which worked for my kit. you can look up how to do it on youtube. it looks a bit ghetto but it does work rather well.

I was going to suggest the same thing, also deepbluevibes (azuritereaction on youtube) uses some socks with rubber bands on each drum head, thats the method i used after the tape kept wearing out.
If you're really serious about playing those drums, you could always buy a few tom or snare pads off of Channelbeat (same ones used for DM) and affix the piezo sensors from your RB set to the undersides of the DM pads. All the sensitivity and durability (and silence!) of a good set of DM pads on RB.

I thought about doing this... but is it really worth it?

had 4 drum sets for 360 none worked very well so far... the best thing ive done is the sock mod, which is surprisingly registering almost everything... i also noticed the ps3 drums working better, i played on 3 different sets for it and they all seemed to work great
