nah, i play music games for the fun of it. mostly because i suck something awful at them. from ddr to popn to rock band it's more of a fun hobby rather than a full-blown "I-MUST-INCREASE-MY-POWER-LEVEL" sort of thing. i'm just not a big fan of RO's work. They turn everything into challenge after challenge after challenge and the fun factor really just disappears for me at least. some people love a challenge, but i prefer to just play it for the fun factor.

and i wouldn't try it darling, i've been trollin these boards for a long time now. post count isn't everything, but i'm sure we all know that

I find the fun in the challenges. It's why I've been sticking with IIDX.

i've read your post and i answered it. i suck at music games as far as competition goes. i'm not a big fan of technical play. it was just never my thing. i get good enough to clear hard songs and i'm pretty much satisfied with that. it's only recently (like not even a month ago) that my technical play has gotten better in all music games, and i've been playing DDR, IIDX, or whatever for a long time now. :/

But hey, congrats to him. The only thing that bugs me about this is the whole idea that combo is everything. He FC'd it, and now there's not really anywhere else to go with it. Sure he could have a better SP path or something, but that really doesn't have much to do with the rhythm aspect of it.

Yeah, now he just waits for the next hardest song to come along... or goes to FC another one.

I'm initially just satisfied with beating a hard song... then I go for 5 stars. Once I hit 5 stars, I'm beyond satisfied.

Now IIDX, I'm just happy beating a song. No score attacking for me.

I can AAA the maxes on my cobalt flux with no problem. AC and CS are very different when it comes to timing, and the cobalt flux is so sensitive that it helps.

But yeah, I'd like to see him play IIDX

although that shit he pulled off on guitar hero is ridiculous
