To each his own. Probably came around from a friend betting him he couldn't do it. |
a Jordan FC is awesomER because I played with the guy who did it not knowing how insanely good he is. plus, there will never be a more perfect american-made music game besides GHII. Not even Rock Band, my new favorite matches up to the quality, replay value, fun factor, and awesomeness that is GHII. For cryin out loud, it had TROGDOR in it people!
if those were the circumstances, i'd understand that. but if i just woke up one day and said "I'm gonna AAA a song on heavy....backwards," I would declare
myself a doucebag knowing how long I had to rape that song, memorize it, waste credits, all for a Full Perfect Combo of the damn thing? I'd be happy with an SDG, but some people aren't. To each his own. Well spoken err written. I have a friend that would always play me in MAX2 and to finish off our rounds, he always played MAXX Unlimited....backwards. Were I a total tool, i would've tripped him, but that's just his thing. With all that showboating, he never AA'ed ANY of the extra stages, but I did

lol. Just wanna to throw that story out there.

he got that good at ddr/itg in a fairly short time. like 6 months.

that's about the average time it takes to master any kind of game. rhythm-based or not. From HALO to IIDX, if you just sit down and play the same game in and out on a day-to-day basis for 6 months, you're bound to be insanely talented at it. Damien took about that same amount of time to get good. A long time ago we had a kid around these parts who could damn near AA the 10 footers, but didn't weigh enough for the sensors to hold his freezes. insane i tell ya.
again, i'm not knocking the TTFAF FC, i just don't like GH since RedOctane truly took the helm of the project and turned into an ITG-for-hands kind of deal and i'm sure GH:WT is hellbent on doing the same for drums and vocals. I do like the "Make your own track" thing though.
and i'm not knocking that he AAA'ed something backwards, i just think that's a douchey (is that a "word") thing to do. i give props where it's earned, but i always have a say about the tactics used.
