Three personal choices for Rock Band songs, and why they're chosen...

"Digital Love" by Daft Punk. Just to see how the "guitar solo" would be charted on expert.

"Lover of the Bayou" by Mudcrutch. If Tom Petty makes it into Rock Band, this would be a good first song for him.

"Ghost Riders in the Sky". Because it would serve Rock Band well to include what is arguably country music's best song, and because there are numerous versions of it to choose from--including one by a Rock Band alum. Also, I'd be the first in line to play it if it ever becomes playable.


Also, I'm pleased to see "Lazy Eye", "Colony of Birchmen", and "Chop Suey!" are coming to Rock Band 2. I'd have a blast with those three alone!

Joe Satriani - Surfing With the Alien
Van Halen - Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love
Santana - All I Ever Wanted

I just found out I'll get my wish with Joe. Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love has always been my favorite Van Halen song, though it might be a little repetitive for the game. All I Ever Wanted would be very fun, as it keeps itself pretty interesting.

As for Van Halen, it's overdone, but Hot for Teacher would be a hell of an intense boss song for both guitar and drums.
