The "you are fags" ending, as well as the whole episode, is saying video games that are just an artificial representation of the real thing are stupid because you could be doing the real thing instead, and not look dumb for playing a game so seriously. They had made the same point in a previous episode in which they took a jab at DDR by having the player state "You mean dance without the machine telling you what to do? That's lame".

So the point is, it's odd that someone who plays all sorts of music games, ones of which share the same premise of simulating an instrument, would agree with what South Park is saying. "Yeah man, South Park is right, Guitar Hero is for fags. K, time to play some IIDX!"

And ofcourse, if you merely agree with their sentiments simply because you have a person vendetta against Guitar Hero and it's players, then, that's pretty gay too.

On the thread topic: the accoustic Guitar Hero playing was my favorite part of the ep. :3

No, I have no issue with the game itself, I have issues with the community around that game specifically, which makes me hate the game by proxy. They think it's the most inventive, creative game that they've ever seen, and it may well be, but then scoff at the other games in the genre because they think that GH is superior. They assume that the other games, for example any game in the Bemani series, are stupid and lame because they are ignorant of the good qualities that the games share and the good qualities that make each of the games unique, most of the time, without ever even trying out the other games. Then comes the racism that is spewed out of these hateful people. The instantly see that the major audience is predominately Asian and then make stupid comments to the effect of "LULZ well he's Asian so he just memorizes the shit and they're just naturally good at those games and have no life," etc, etc, etc. This sentiment has been present ever since GH came out and have irked me to no end. Thus my hatred for the game and what it represents.

It's the biggest music game in the US as of now, and big games deserve their own boards.
