It's worth mentioning that my score is gonna suck kinda badly because of the lack of hyperspeed.

So, is it just the GH3 song list? & what counts as a "premium" song? Are they the longest songs in the game?

The pick resembles more of the Guitar Freaks pick rather than the home click-click switch pick (which is fine for me), and it's weighty (not as heavy as GF), but otherwise I thought this was a collosal waste of money.
I dunno, I think if you have GH III, stick to that. The cabinet's so-so (kinda short actually IMO, the speaker system's nothing special), the HD lag feels a bit worse than DDR X (where that was slightly noticeable, this is just obvious), and it really just felt like I was playing GH III on an arcade cabinet. Even some kind of extra features, extra screens, or something would be nice, but it was basically Quick Play GH III on arcade.
Hell, if you have halfway-decent-to-awesome audio system and a nice big 1080p HD TV, you're better off with that. | |

The strum bar resembles that of Rock Band's moreso than Guitar Hero's. It kinda has that "squish" effect. The song list wasn't bad, however, it's pretty lame that they charge you an extra credit to play the so-called "Premium" songs. I can understand that they're longer, but they're not worth an extra $1.50 to play (what my arcade charges per credit). The interface is nothing special, but I thought it was cool that they did include the characters' alternate costumes from GHIII, and not just a default character list. I was not at ALL impressed with the post song hi-score entry screen, after you enter your name, it just goes straight back to an insert coin screen, very similar to the "Press Start" screen from GHIII. I did not have any problems with lag, but the strum bar did take some getting used to... as did the lack of hyperspeed.
All in all, it's fun for a while, but after about 4 songs, I was right back over at the DDR cabinet.
