Hey, did you guys find that the extended snare roll sections in Train Kept a Rollin' were impossible to get perfect simply due to the drum's response itself?
PS - Has anyone tried splitting the headphone jack for the foot pedal into two foot pedals to get a double-bass pedal effect?
I still have to try this...so I'll let you know if it works. | I can do Train Kept a rollin' fine. Actually have only had a few problems with my drumset, by my friends drumsets are VERY bad.
Also I dont see why the splitter wont work. My friend says it does, but I have never seen it happen yet. Its would be nice to have that for when you play Blackened.

Any roll section on a single drum is not working for me much at all. So I don't know what is up with that. I think I'm going to try the SOCK+Elastic band method I found in a forum somewhere. Quote:

Guitar EX.
Gold starred Highway Star.
All that leaves left to gold star is Ballroom Blitz, Flirtin with Disaster, Train Kept a Rollin and Run to the Hills.
I don't think those listed will come anytime soon...

Marketplace Rating: 2 | I sanpped my pedal today... and it looks weird, I cracked it in 2 places, and it just spilt in between, first rising up in the middle, then going back down. I consider this a accomplishment since I was playing Ride The Lightning on Expert, and was hitting ever pedal and all of of a sudden it just stops, and I look down. Thats the story.

Btw, that's better than my pedal snapping story. I only did mine in during Move Along. Curious, since that song only contains quarter-note bass beats. But hey, I guess it was just its time to go.

Marketplace Rating: 2 | man everyone is getting good at the drums all of a sudden. I passed Run the The Hills with 4 stars, with the Red drum not working very well. This was right before my pedal broke... I don't think it recorded the score either... This has happened to my about 3 times now.

I know a lot of people who never played Bemani games that went into drums and had the hardest time on medium! So you can imagine how surprised they were when I went straight to expert without touching another difficulty.
For what it's worth, IMO Drummania rocks the shit compared to this game. I hate the layout for the drums on this; no dedicated button per drum piece, layout for bass pedal, etc. That's just me though..

Marketplace Rating: 0 | The reason the splitter won't work very well is that the port for the foot pedal is a mono part only. Meaning that if there's ANY singal still coming from one pedal, the other pedal won't activate at all, which makes it all but useless for double-bassing.

5 Stars on everything (except for Run To The Hills for the sole reason that the drums are crap)
