It seems that every once in a while my combo will be screwed up because of a strum that never was. Actually, the strum bar in general seems flimsy, but I'm not sure if it's just my technique or the strum bar itself is bad. Sometimes it just doesn't seem to work. I got a 3 star on Should I Stay or Should I Go because it just wouldn't register my strums. I changed to my GH2 X-Plorer and got 98% on the song.
Second, the "overdrive" activation is finicky. When I play sitting down, I'm pretty much slumped on my couch, with the guitar laying horizontally on top of me. When I play like this, overdrive activates whenever it damn pleases. The activation mechanism must be different for the Stratocaster.
Other than those, I really enjoy it more than the X-Plorer. I enjoyed the strum clicks, they helped me keep cadence, but I really don't mind their absence.

He connected the manufacturers (they included some paper with replacement details) and they sent him a new guitar for free in like 3 days that seems to work much better. The strum bar sounds slightly different, as do the clicks of the buttons themselves, so we're thinking this is like an updated peripheral or something or other, kind of like Rock Band Stratocastor v.1.1. Try getting your guitar replaced (as far as I know, they do it for free).

I personally haven't even touched it; I love my Les Paul too much

Does anyone actually use the solo keys?

Second- The solo keys are fun, but unless you're looking down, you lose your fingering so easily.

Yeah I can imagine. I get lost playing GH, I'd get stranded using those haha.

I just sent off my drums (freaking Red pad stopped working for me on really fast rolls, like on Run to the Hills Expert).
