I don't think they come out the 14th, last time i checked gamestop didn't have individual SKUs for the instruments yet, and i check well after the game was, but they could be.

They probably meant that in that the Rock Band 2 mic is no different from the original and it's pointless to buy it. Even then, their math is off.

We've had them for nearly a month now, and according to our dates, come out on 360 the same day the game does, 9/14.

This is kind of irritating; my RB1 instruments are total shit so I was just going to buy the bundle on release day. And while I don't really need a second mic (or a first mic

), the game and a separate guitar and drums are $30 more expensive than the bundle is already.

I'll just have to get the game on release then sell it and buy the bundle when it comes out :/

I have a valid question:

The fabled 20 free DLC songs that are coinciding with the RB2 release:

1) Will they become available on the release of the game in September, or the release of the bundle in October?

2) Will they be free forever, or is it only within a limited time frame that they are free, with them changing to regular price later on?
