I'm sorry, but clearly love<3shine is the best candidate. I was in a wicked mosh pit at this show one time when a band played that. It got to the breakdown section and man, it was crazy. Bruises all over, but it was fun. Best metal show ever.

Okay, I don't play Guitar Hero for crap, but I looked for about 10 minutes to the answer of this question so I wouldn't have to post it here.

Elbow? Third arm perhaps?

Hammer ons is what that was. You can pick once and you can just press buttons without having to pick for a certain parts of the song. Kinda like a real guitar you can tap the strings of an electric guitar and still make some noise. Its a technique that you must learn to pass certain songs with wicked solos like that because strumming for every single note is tiring and results in misses too. Unless you pick hella fast.

it works when notes are linked together, like 1-2-3-2-1 or fast 1-1s. man thats hella crazy... im pretty good but that makes me wanna break my guitar and give up on guitar hero
