Yeah, I agree. (Near the end of the Tiesto mashup on expert )

Maybe someone will make a controller mod that replaces the plungers for the buttons with switches or something.

I'd nearly have that Tiesto song FC'd if it wasn't for that section.

Gold isn't supposed to rub off like that...

For me it seems like when I have to do "jackhammer" taps on the same button, it's not very responsive and will usually miss at least 1 or 2 hits...

Are you playing on an HDTV or a tube?

I've found that if you're missing the jacks on an HDTV, your calibration is probably off.

Too bad it's not real gold

The unfortunate part is the paint around the turntable will wear out just like the one pictured pretty much on every controller unless you baby it

....Not cool.
I am having the exact same problem. When I do a long scratch section on green the red or sometimes the both the red and blue buttons misfire and I drop my combo, which is devastating in a game where the scoring system is combo based.

I guess since green is farthest out it pushes the the turntable down farther and the inner buttons make contact. I was going to open the thing up to check it out and maybe jam something in there to support it better, but it uses screws that I don't have a screwdriver for.

This problem is really killing the game for me.

I had to return mine to the store today - luckily Blockbuster still accept returns for this game (in the UK at least). The turntable was overfiring, the buttons were very unresponsive, rewinds didn't work 100% of the time and I think the worst crime of all, the euphoria button didn't light up!

I was really quite dissapointed. This had potential! Maybe it's just me I don't know, but I've got my money back and that's all I was really worried about.

That was my twitpic.

It was taken about two days after it came out. I'm guessing it happened because we had three people playing on expert all night long for two nights straight.

this. not sure if it's my stupid finger syndrome, timing or whatever, but the Daft Punk Megamixes have lots of jackhammers and this controller refuses to pull them off.

Yeah, not getting DJ Hero now.

Can't even start to complain about the shoddy quality of the GH:WT Instruments, and the shit I had to go through to get them refunded because I didn't want to go through 5 sets of bad Drums and Guitars, never doing that again.

I've yet to have my renegade or regular edition controllers mess up on me at all, and that's with pretty heavy play.
