Default unsigned - pc clone of rock band

anyone seen this yet? i tried out the drums on a journey track today, worked well. it is very new, and is already looking promising.

http://unsigned-game.com

there are some videos on youtube of gameplay, mostly drums cuz that is what's most new and exciting in the pc clone department.

talkin bout this not being done before in the pc world. there was frets on fire, so having a free way to play guitar rhythm games on pc already existed, but not drums, as far as i know.

As suggested in the previous post, you seem to not know DTXMANIA.

ah, i'm guessing drummania sims have been around a while. i'm also guessing the only worth while way to play that is with a drummania KOC? maybe possible to use the keyboard, but not really practical? maybe it'll be playable with the gh4 drum set when it comes out since it has the right amount of pads, or maybe a double rb drum set.

not sure why i didn't even think about drummania before. at any rate, that was really a side comment. it's still 'new and exciting' to most new US rhythm gamers. here is an ambitious project to recreate the whole band sim on pc, including vocals, but i don't think vocals are working yet.

i for one don't have a drummania KOC, or anything like it other than my RB drum set, and playing on the keyboard just won't cut it. i also think it will be fun to play more custom songs for free, all band parts.

that's RAM, not HD space, and is a clear stab at the memory requirements to run Vista. the game also may not run on vista, but i'm not sure.

no one has 947 TB of ram either.
even thought FoF has a drum addon too, this looks a lot better.

It's designed to be played with a professional electronic drumset, with a MIDI-to-USB converter.

You should, they're ten times better than the crap-tacular Rock Band sets that break the second you play a song on expert, and with some re-wiring, can be used as a Rock Band controller, you win three times.

i've progressed to the second to the last bracket in hard drums and now am about 20 songs into expert, and my rock band drum set is working just fine like the day i bought it. i consider it to be a good value, and of course it's no replacement for a real electronic drum kit.

this thread is really for people who _have_ rock band, and maybe want to branch out a little more with this game on the PC. it's all in good fun.

Yeah, it's definitely ONLY for really hardcore players who are sick of using the sock mod and still missing regularly because of a bad set.
