the megaman song was just a special GH1 build that we did for a convention or art show type thing. it won't be in GH2 so don't fret. haha, get it? "fret"
I find no appeal to this song. It's boring, lame, and just too slow and not varied enough.
The most recognizable song from Mega Man is DR W's Castle from MM2. It's the most covered song, and it offers plenty of varibility.
A friend of mine a few years ago did a completely rock version of Dr W's castle from mm2. And he also did Blues' (Protoman's) theme too, which worked out very well.
Not to mention that it's one of the few songs in the series that a guitar could pull off.
I'm sure you could make some others work, yes. But Bubble Man's theme on a guitar? It'd be weird.
If you listen to Blue Balls by Sukotto42, you'll realize its a medly of several songs (most if not all from MM3), and they are all done very, very well.
there was a cover band that came to Athens that basically redid video game songs and i think they focused on megaman. Perhaps thats what you can expect?
