Just want to ask your opinions about the "2000" series songs. As you may have noticed, "2000" series songs are songs that end with the word "2000" to signify BandaiNamco's milestone with Taiko no Tatsujin since the year 2000.
Here is the list of all the "2000" series songs that appeared in Taiko no Tatsujin
EkiBEN2000
Some assumptions and facts I have and know about the songs.
Generally - All "2000" series songs have maximum point scores of over 1.2 million. They are automatically assumed to be a Level 10 Oni song. By getting a full combo in these songs in the arcade, one can redeem himself as a true Taiko Drum Master.
Saitama2000 - It was the first "2000" series song that first appeared in Taiko no Tatsujin 6 (arcade version). Taiko 6 was the last version to use the 1st generation graphics which looked more "boxed" and less graphically interesting and colorful. Saitama2000 has become a favourite of Taiko drummers worldwide and have reappeared in all the AC versions after that. In Taiko 7, BandaiNamco altered the notes in Saitama2000 by adding more difficult "Master Notes" 「達人譜面」. In the latest version, which is currently Taiko 10. Saitama2000 has been downgraded to a 9 star song. Other reappearances include PS2's Taiko 3 - Appare! Sandaime and Taiko no Tatsujin - Taiko Drum Master. PSP's Portable 1 and Portable 2 and the arcade versions 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10.

Kechadon2000 - The second song of the "2000" series that first appeared in PS2's Taiko 4 - Atsumare! Matsuri da! Yondaime. The story behind this song is that someone is bugging a person to finish up something. It is also one of the few "2000" series songs that doesn't have "Master notes" so far. (Master notes appeared in Taiko 9 AC) It also resurfaced with all the other "2000" series songs in the arcade till this date. Reappearances include PSP Portable 1 and 2, and arcade versions 7, 8, 9 and 10.

Koibumi2000 - Used to be known as "the hardest 2000 series song" till Taberuna2000 came out. Literally translated as "Love Letters 2000". It was the very first "2000" series song that had "Go-Go mode" (120% combo mode) in Go! Go! Godaime. Koibumi2000 was renoted with "Normal notes" (Futsuu fumen) and "Master notes" in the PSP Portable 1 download and also arcade version 8. Along with other "2000 series" songs, it also resurfaced in PSP Portable 1 and 2, Playstation 2 Go! Go! Godaime and arcade versions 7, 8, 9, and 10.

Yokuderu2000 - Yet another "2000 series" song with no note alterations as of yet. It's one of the "ignored 2000 series songs" because it didn't make an appearance in arcade version 8. Most people think it's annoying due to the repetitive yodeling this song has. Appearances include PSP Portable 1, PS2 Wai! Wai! Happy Muyome Rokudaime, and arcade versions 7, 9 and 10.

YouTube - よる2 Yokuderu2000
Yokuderu doesn't have Master notes yet. It will soon.
Taberuna2000 - It's one of the slower "2000 series" songs. It contains notes from several other songs along with its own one. Those songs include Saitama2000, Megadeth, and Kagekiyo. The song doesn'thave any singing and it goes in a "ka-ching" rythm. Directly translated, it's known as "Don't Eat 2000". One of the nonsenical titles Namco could think of. Appearances include PSP Portable 2, PS2 Wai! Wai! Happy Muyome Rokudaime, and arcade versions 8, 9 and 10.
=Video of Taberuna2000=
YouTube - タベルナ2000 (Oni)
Taberuna, too, doesn't have Master notes till this point. I'm sensing it will soon.
KitaSaitama2000 - Currently the hardest song in Taiko no Tatsujin. The notes in "Go-Go mode" are really scrambled up and hard to read. Apparently, if one can pass this song in Oni mode, they can be considered a good Taiko drummer. Appearances include PSP Portable 2, PS2 Doka! To Oomori Nanadaime and arcade versions 9 and 10.
-Lyrics for KitaSaitama2000-

This isn't the same town as you have thought of!
Lo and behold, this is North Saitama!
Ah, it comes! Don't lose out!
Here burns the spirit of rivalry!

KitaSaitama doesn't have Master notes yet, but people are passing it now. So, maybe it will with more crazy notes.
Soroban2000 - Also one of the harder "2000 series" songs due to BPM changes. The notes are difficult to read at the end as it is very fast. Yet another one of Bandai Namco's nonsensical titles because it was translated as "Abacus2000" (well you hear the abacus noises, but still...). Appearances include PS2 Doka! To Oomori Nanadaime and arcade versions 9 and 10
-Lyrics-
-Note: There are 4 people in this song. Well, they are actually talking about the song itself. Like when Katami said the it'll change to "Tatsujin Fumen", it really did, because he said he wanted to try. o.o-
Katami: The guy playing Soroban2000. He's supposedly a very good Taiko no Tatsujin player
A: A young man poplularly nicknamed as "Mr. Round". One of Katami's friends
B: Taberuna-kun. The one that made "Taberuna2000". He may be present to see a song that "Cannot be passed". He thinks highly of Taberuna2000 and always believed it cannot be passed. Came to see what's so great about Soroban2000
C: A 14 year old girl, looking for a boyfriend
-Mixed up conversation at the beginning. You need to listen carefully to make it out-

B: kaisan...! kaisan...!
-Translation-
Katami: Now it is intense! Look at the furore! Let's go for the song Soroban2000! Think you can do it?
Katami: Here it comes! Here it comes!
C: Oh, I see.
A: This is... Soroban?
C: Oh, really?
A: How about that? You wanna go for "Sanbai mode"? (sanbai koosu is referred as "Speed 3 mode" here)
B: Oh? "Sanbai mode"? I think the "Normal" notes is just enough
A: Hey...
A: So what do you think?
Katami: "Normal" notes are fine with me...
B, C: Ok, ok.
Katami: ... if that's what you wish, let's start part 1.
A: Looks easy.
Katami: That's right.
C: Can you do better?
B: Yeah.
A: Yup.
Katami: So, I'll go for the second part...
A: Yeah.
Katami: ... if that's what you wished for.
Katami: That's right!
C: Looks easy for you!
Katami: But, this kind of level isn't too difficult for professionals.
C: Are you... saying that you're one of them?
A: Is that so?
Katami: I'm just so good, right? Why don't I play "Master notes"? ("Tatsujin koosu" here refers to as "Tatsujin Fumen" a.k.a "Professional notes" or "Master notes")
B: Fine...
A: Okay.
C: Really? You can?
Katami: Well then, I'll start part 1 if you wish...
Katami: Hmm? I can't do it...
C: H-Hey...
Katami: Doesn't matter, I'll go on to part 2.
Katami: Hard, right? Don't you think I should stop now?
B: You... you can continue?!
Katami: Got it, I'll move on to part 3!
B: That it, that's enough!
Katami: Th... that's right!
Katami: "Master notes" wasn't so hard after all.
Katami: However, when this song has a "patch update", perfect combo will be mine!
B: You can still play?! Even with a patch update?! I can't take it anymore!
Katami: Well then, Soroban2000 sure is challenging. I'll come and play again.
B: Dismissed...! Dismissed...!

Tenjiku2000 - The newest and most current "2000 series" song. It was anticipated to be a difficult song like either Soroban2000 or KitaSaitama2000 but it was relatively easy for a "2000 series song". Directly translated as "India2000" and the rythm fits its title very well. Appearances include Nintendo DS Touch de Dokodon! and arcade version 10.
