Default Akihabara TnTJ geek meets Yoshiki from X-Japan

I happen to come across with this clip on YouTube. (video is out of sync, but can find similar variants)
YouTube - x japan yoshiki vs ????? 2

This TnTJ geek went on TV several times. He does a pretty good job playing double drums. I'm not sure if he sucks or tries to demo some tricks in front of Yoshiki (X-Japan), he should of FC Kurenai for him instead of the weak score. I'm pretty sure flyboy87 is the person who is really good at Japanese in this forum and probably can explain what's going on. He sure did impress Yoshiki though.

Well...

The host invited Yoshiki and Akihabara's Taiko God to the show one day to let Yoshiki see his performance. As expected, Yoshiki was impressed seeing the Taiko God's performance on Anpanman no Maachi (Yonbai) and a rather weak Kurenai score. Surprised me as that is the Taiko God and he should be able to FC it easily. Was he too nervous or something?

-------------------------------------------------------------
Random fact: Why choose Akihabara?
Akihabara is a district in Tokyo, Japan that is a sanctuary for geeks/nerds and otakus as there are abundant places there that is related to anime and games.

A lot of the people who play Taiko there are basically "kimoi".
-------------------------------------------------------------

But that's basically it, the rest is just random talks relating on Yoshiki's opinion on Taiko and random stuff and some info about playing Taiko.

Now that I see this...

I'm better than the Akihabara Taiko God in terms of single drums, lol.

Why the Akihabara Taiko God gets so much attention is that he is able to perform stunts while doing double drums - and not many people could do that.

I think I saw some people double drum better than he does. The show chose him probably because he's one of the original double drummers?

I guess so, he's the one that started the double drum fad.

I -think- I remember seeing a youtube vid of Kurenai.
Full combo, with a perfect hit for all notes..and no,not Auto-play.THAT'S what I call epic win.

I know which one you're talking about, but we don't know if he used a controller or tatakon.
