I would be pretty happy if I can FC 紅 (kurenai) in Oni and can get thru the Taiko towers in hard mode. The Taiko towers seems pretty hard and should last me for a long time.

Note to Bandai Namco: Please release a new PS2/PSP version! It'll be great even if it's for Wii!

On a sort of related note, I was playing this last week with a few friends on campus, and during soroban2000, the left rim decides to die and not respond for a good while, so I had to resort to playing kind of sideways (how some of the better players actually play in the arcade.)
I have 2 more that I have that SHOULD work while I fix this one. *sigh*
Oh, and one of the song challenges in Waku Waku mode is, really, get 999 combo in Kurenai.

However, the home version is too small, so I don't find it comfortable doing that.
Another side note to Bandai Namco: RELEASE AN ARCADE STYLE CONTROLLER PLS! (Like what Konami did for Pop'n Music)
I'll definately buy that! *dreams*

Oh, and one of the song challenges in Waku Waku mode is, really, get 999 combo in Kurenai. | I switched to another controller where the buttons feels "flat" when you press on them. So far it only works to a certain extend and I can still miss places where I shouldn't be even doing that.
Speaking of the drum, how can I make it stay at one place?

You can buy Velcro strips in any hardware store, or even Wal*Mart, and just stick one side to a piece of plywood or something of the sort, or a small table that you don't use too much.

Total Tokens: 917.97 Donate Tokens | I finally unlocked Oni mode. After a few hours, I can only FC..... 1 song in Oni: 冒険日和 (I'm somewhat disappointed). I also passed 紅. If not because of one miss, I can pretty much get it right until the first triplet sequence of the song. I couldn't play triplet sequence well enough not to break a combo with a PS2 controller. Perhaps I may be able to get some help once I get my tripod back so I can make some videos?
I also tried the adventure mode. Sorta like the challenges in the DS version, which is cool. Passed the Taiko tower 1 and 2 (barely passed #2).
I was looking at one of the old thread. Is the Jingle Bell song really unlocked by just playing it? It doesn't look like it's there. How many ranks after unlocking Oni mode will get 月下美人?
Many Thanks | |

Total Tokens: 917.97 Donate Tokens | Actually, I unlocked Jingle Bell #765 by just playing it for a few more times today (not sure if there's an amount of time you need to play it or counts by the amount of presents you delivered). 十露盤2000 and 伝説の祭り aren't unlocked yet.
I'm having a hard time trying to pass the 3rd tower. Just need to get the timing right to hit the notes when I couldn't see them. I wish I can unlock 伝説の祭り by completing the adventure mode. Hope I can do it.

I forgot if the points are converted the first time around (i.e. ratioed down), but I know after that, if you go back on the map after finishing it will unlock new areas, and all the points you get are 1:1. Those two are unlocked through points, with Soroban being the last one to get.
