Dead spot on drum

lol I FINALLY got a hold of Taiko drum master! wit the drum brand new in the states. I've been playing it and have noticed a dead spot around the center of the drum where the sensor doesn't pick up hits. It does in menus but on and off during the actual game. Is it just me?

i'm having that problem too...i think it's just a design flaw.

There is no sensor in the middle bit :P

You just have to get used to hitting the sides. It's easy enough to get the hang of it.

Yeah, it's not really a design flaw, it's just the design of the drum, period. The only way they could separate both sensors for left and right was to split the sensors in two, so they just added a spine there so people can tell where not to hit.
