Help with Waku Waku

ok, I just bought Taiko No Tatsujin Waku Waku Matsuri (I think I spelled that wrong).

anyways...
how do I turn on auto save?
and...
How do I unlock songs?

please reply ASAP, I dont want to loose any progress that I have right now, so until then my PS2 is running 24/7.

Oh, man. I'm going to have to dig this one up since I rarely play any of the 1st gen engine games, especially waku waku anime matsuri, since it has the least number of songs. All I can say is look for something that has (PS2) in parenthesis like that, and the first one should be save. I'll be back with a definite response though.

How many songs are there in the game also?

also is there any way I can change how many songs you get to play each round.

and is there oni mode?

It's in Game Settings (Last option in the main menu). From there, you go to the 2nd page, and it's the first selection there, Memory Card(PS2). The options are, from right to left, AutoSave (since it's off for you, just hit the drum once to turn it on), Save, Load, and OK.

I don't remember if it's 15 + 4 hidden songs, or 18 + 1 hidden song, but it's 19 in total. It was a limited budget release. Go sue them for a 3-year-old game or something.

No, you can't change the number of songs played in Arcade Mode, but you can select Free Mode, which is the one to the right of Arcade Mode. The third option is Survival Mode.

Oni mode unlocks through either playing all arcade modes and passing at least once, or unlocks automatically after 3 hours of play... <.<

No problem. I more or less know what I'm reading in Japanese, and I just memorize the more important ones, like options, save, load, etc.

ya, I suck at guessing... I am goign to try to speak japanese or read it, because I want to take a trip to Japan after high school, so i thought I should learn one or the other, and this could help me out when it comes to japanese games as well.
