Does anyone know how arcades get them? are they rented? bought? who supplies?

the arcade here wants to charge me 10,000$ for their original version 9 one which has bene updated thru 10 and now to 11, but the drums are busted
and the lights stopped working
so i said not for a half assed one, id pay at most 6gs for that.
i was hoping to just wire it to my tv and sound system but apparnetly its super complicated -_-;
i was hoping to just buy the drums + the game unit itself insde the cabinet, i guess im wrong andi t IS more complciated thant hat.,

The cheapest way is to get a Taiko 1,2,3,4,5 or 6 PCB. Get a Taiko 11 PCB to upgrade it and then connect RCA cables for audio and visual output
As for the controls, there are some wirings you need to do. But as far as I know, you CAN connect the drum controls to a PS2 Tatakon or a PS2 controller.
But this is serious hacking stuff and it could damage your PCB.
