looking to buy super animehit with controller

alright, I presume taiko no tatsujin will be the cheapest buy out of all the music games I'm going after on account of there being no ASC for it...
so when I start reeling my money in around the end of may, this will be my first purchase.


but play-asia is sold out of the super animehit+drum controller package...

anywhere else I would be able to get it?

Super Anime Hit is really a bad title for it. It's supposed to be Anime Matsuri, and you're better off getting a newer version sine Matsuri uses the 1st Gen graphics.

graphics don't bother me at all, I just know that this title has a heap of songs I want to play.

That version has the least number of songs in total compared to other releases.

Try having fun with an interface that won't let you exit out of a song.

I have barely seen any songs I don't want to play on that one, so it's a matter of:
a) fewer songs, but I want to play heaps of them
or
b) heaps of songs that I don't give a crap about...

if it turns out bad I'll just grab a different one anyway, I'm planning to COLLECT music games so if it turns out crap then it's just an addition to my collection and nothing more, wouldn't be that bad.

I can honestly say you will enjoy more songs from the 7th version than all the songs you like in Waku Waku Anime Matsuri, but if you're going to get it for collection, then that's fine. Also, you're better off getting a newer version since they changed the drums again for the 3rd time, so get those since those seem to last a bit longer than 2nd or even 1st generation drums. 3rd gen drums were first bundled with Tobikkiri Anime Special, so either that, Wai Wai Happy Rokudaime or Doka! To Omori! Nanadaime bundles should be fine. Nanadaime is a year and a half old, though, so finding them new MIGHT be a challenge on play-asia.

well if there's a V3 drum that comes with an anime special game, then I guess I'll pick that up first and get matsuri on it's own later.

Apparently, we weren't on the same page. Super Anime hit IS Tobikkiri Anime Special. God I hate how they name the games.

Anyways, yeah, it's hard to find, apparently. You're better off looking for other places that sell the game. And definitely go for Tobikkiri, it has plenty of good songs.

that game your talking about sucks. I turned it on, played five minutes, vomited, and put the game back on my shelf. The graphics are bad, and the song list as well. I have not played the wewer anime version though, I know the first one (the best hits title) was one of the worst music games I ever played. I do enjoy taiko portable 2, and 5.
