Default Taiko ASC?

Okay so obviously DJdao makes some awesome controls..
is there anyone else who makes them or any plans for a taiko ASC?

...cuz im totally gonna chuck 4gs into that one if thats the case <3<3
as long as it plugs into a ps2 with no ...funtastic wiring for me to do
(gonna go buy a beatmania and drummania kit from djdao now)
<3

When sales of his other ASC's start slowing down, he'll make a Taiko ASC, mark my words.

Shipping is measured on weight, the ASC might not be any heavier than any of his other one's since they're made of plastic (?) not metal, and stuff...

Yano, I'd like an ASC for taiko, just because I have a tendancy to hit dead center of my Tatakon where there isn't a sensor and break combo. >_<;

Anyways, The shipping CANNOT be worse than the shipping for Dao's DM ASC... Shipping is like $300 on that thing, which is part of why I don't own one lol. I'd say if it's weight based, it wouldn't be more than $100, as I can't see it weighing THAT much. I'd think most of the inside would be hollow, which just makes it large, and not really heavy...

hate to revive old threads but this is the first and most relevant thing that pops up when Googling "taiko no tatsujin asc"

At least OP lives in a city with multiple working, up to date Taiko machines ("ONLY THIS IN BC!"). Seattle only has one and it's always broken :P

Despite being broken, you still have to wait 20 minutes for the machine to become free.

And the only way I can play on the tiny home controller and get the hits to register is to play with actual drum sticks (with nylon tips)

All of this frustration has led me to Google in the first place for an alternative. And now I'm back here.

But in either case, figured I'd chime in with my support for an ASC, even if this thread has been decaying for 2 years :P

Amen to an ASC!! However, what I'll probably end up doing is buying a hollow heavy duty thick cardboard or cheap - but strong and quality enough - wooden shell and simply mod the sensors of the regular home controller into a DIY shell. Any projects like this already done? I'm going to Google Japanese search this topic via Google translate, I'll post if I find anything relevant.

I think the best option is to buy a spare ASC controller and mod it by fixing it to a PS2 pad. They can't be very expensive and modding them is probably not very hard.
