Default Taiko Drum Master

Heh, you know the only version released in america? well, i was wondering if any of you guys still play it, i know its utterly horrible for a taiko no tatsujin game but the american song selection is still pretty decent compared to other americanized music games, although all of the songs, even the oni mode songs of the american songs on it only reach to a muzukashi in hardness level compared to the real taiko no tatsujin games. does anyone here agree with me that its not THAT bad of a taiko game? i just played it a bit a few moments ago, bowling for soup is kinda fun. =P

Only the Pop songs have Hard and Oni levels the same. The Namco Originals still have their Oni charts.

And although this introduced me to the game, I don't like to play it as much since the songs aren't really that much of a challenge compared to later games. It's fun, but I just don't play it much, if at all.

Plus, I have the Japanese re-release, and that has a few more songs that I like, including REAL Oni charts for all the Pop songs. It even has September, not like the US version.

But, the Japanese release doesn't have Bowling for Soup and the Dragon Ball Z theme

The Dragonball Z theme is SUPER short, and the Jimmy Neutron song is ok, but not exactly that hard. :\

Plus, the JP version has the ABC Song. What wins now, good sir?

And the Japan version has my all time favorite Saitama2000 and Mojipittan Medley.

Yeah, I loved the JP versions all along, I'm just stating that there are some songs that the US version has and the JP version doesn't. T__________T

i play the US release as well, but mainly b/c it's the only one I have besides both DS titles. I'm sure if i had the Jap. ones then my opnions would be drastically different, but i do have fun with it. The song selection is pretty good for an american music game, compared to other music games that are released here (DDR SN, Beatmania).
