I bought a Don-chan toy. It asks you to copy the beat and gets progressively harder. Once you screw up, Don-chan imitates *you* but if you just give her one beat, she shouts "DON!"

theres <allcaps>TTOONNSS</allcaps> of taiko merchandise on auctions.yahoo.co.jp its insane, theres buttons and videos and demos and shirts and hats and all sorts of stuff, and yes, they do ship to america! just you got to know how to read japanese (only a little, if you know basic japanese and katakana you can navigate it really easily) i bought a blue taiko face pillow!

oh yeah, i know japanese ill go searching through yahoo...
my japanese cell phone (yes ...hardcore import freak ..and lots of....toughness to get that silly thing to FINALLY WORK HERE..sicne u know japanese phones do NOT leave japan and are made to stop functioning....blacklisting etc..its a really serious issue apparently...u cant like BUY just a cell phone in japan, it comes smack to a 2 year contract..anyways....my phone connects to the yahoo site..)
