Taiko no Tatsujin Portable, download songs transfer?

Hey guys, I bought a PSP slim recently, and I just as you would, took my old mem stick across to my new PSP.

However when I go to play my Taiko games, 1/2. It doesn't pick up the downloadable songs anymore, is this normal?

It can see the downloaded songs, as you can go into the downloaded song list and see all the songs in there, and it checks and can see them when you initially load the game, but once you go to the song list they won't appear.

I just went through and redownloaded all my portable 2 songs, but didn't particularly want to back through and do the same thing for number 1 if I can help it, but do I have a choice?

I seem to remember just copying my Taiko 1 download songs off of my mem stick for a friend, and then just bunging them on his mem stick, and it worked perfectly, shouldn't this be a similar affair or am I missing something?

I know I'll have to restart my DJ max Portable 2 game, but ideally I'd like to keep my taiko songs


As a side note, when I redownloaded my taiko 2 songs, some of the songs retained my scores and that I had beaten them (including taberuna 2000 thank f***) but others acted as if it was the first download... it's a bit confusing.

AFAIK Portable 1 downloads weren't binding, but P2 download files were. I forgot the exact method, but download songs work only on the PSP system you downloaded them from.

About the hi-scores, no clue on that.

Ah that's a bit of a bummer. My portable 1 songs still aren't popping up, but they took up about 20MB less space than portable 2 ones so I guess redownloading them isn't too bad.

I kind of wished I'd saved a copy of my portable 2 songs though before I downloaded over them, that way I could still have the download songs accessible to anyone that wanted to play on my old PSP. I made copies of my portable 1 song though.
