Aside from 70 songs bundled and drum, which is good... but doesn't something else bother you?
This isn't like traditional Taiko. You have Kame and other characters rolling the scroll that contains the notes.
Any thoughts about this? I think it's different - but I would like the arcade/PS2/PSP style better, where you have the drum with the hit numbers. Not to say it's bad or anything... but it's different... ^^;;
Does any of you think it offers online play through Nintendo WFC? If it does, that'll be so cool! Taiko drummers around the world playing :P
That's probably 'cause of the widescreen. Looks alot more creative than having plain black bars and also maintains the game's timing.

Timing? What? They have nothing to do with the timing at all. They're programmed into the game just to look pretty. They're not magical turtles and lantern fish that live in the game to make sure your notes scroll in the right time.
Really though, that made laugh a lot.

I'm glad that Lucky Star got some love and made it to the Wii version! It's also great that "Densetsu no Matsuri", one of my all time favorites, is there. I hope some of the songs I want will be there.
So that means... we'll pretty much need to play more on the drums. Hope the drums are better made so you don't need to "break-in" the drum by hitting it hard in the beginning.
Hmm, now that I think about it. I wonder if a PS2 to GCN/Wii converter would work for this game. I certainly hope that this game will have multiple controller types so that the GCN ports are usable for something like this.

That was worded incorrectly on my part. I meant that you'd still get the same amount of notes scrolling on the screen as you would with a 4:3 display while still having a widescreen display. That should clear things up.
