The drumming on the DS is novel, but not something I can use very often as you really need to be sitting down, so it rules out any use of public transport where you might have to stand etc and you need to carry the extra sticks with you.

DS version has only a few new songs that make it worthwhile.

Total Tokens: 126,519.33 Donate Tokens | Songs that usually resurface in arcades like Saitama2000 and Mekadesu are worthwhile songs and they are in the PSP's songlist. Plus, you can download new songs for the PSP.
Worthwhile songs in PSP (1 and 2)
All 2000 series songs (no Soroban2000 and Tenjiku2000 in PSP for now)
Swan Lake ~still a duckling~ (Download song)
Scroll Mika
Bouken Hiyori (Download song)
POP STAR (PSP-only J-POP song)
If I were to list them, I don't think I can finish because there's too many and I usually play TnT PSP for more than 3 hours per round.
I have both DS and PSP and I always find myself enjoy playing TnT PSP more (even more than my TnT PS2, arcade excluded, however)

DS for touch compatability though its not perfect due to lack of multitouch and hard to play unless you have the DS on a hard surface.

See the logic in that?
Seriously, this game is fun no matter what the format. The DS version is fine, but the lack of a few features as outweigh the new features that ARE there. PSP versions are perfectly balanced, minus actual drums, but that's fine.

Total Tokens: 732.63 Donate Tokens | I mentally made my list for christmas right now. (Can be changed at anytime, anyway, we are just at october!, lol 1 year of being a member and only 30 posts)
1. iPod Touch
2. Taiko no Tatsujin 5 on PS2
3. Taiko no Tatsujin Portable 2
4. Taiko no Tatsujin DS
The first in the list is the present with the highest prority. So, I put the PSP version over the DS version. Thanks guys.
Anyway, I think the PSP version looks better. But my friend said "But I prefer the DS version because it'S closer to the real thing". Anyway, he has a DS, he can play Taiko already.

I hope they come out with TnT 2 for both and add mroe songs. DX

Seriously, arcade favorites like Saitama2000 can make its appearance here and everyone will like it.
