Default What's your love/hate song?

Out of all the songs you played, what are your favorite songs? What are the songs that you don't like?

I'll start first.

Songs I like:
-Both the 1st and 2nd Taiko no Tsujin DS openings. The notes have pretty good flow and sounds nice.
-Densetsu no Matsuri 伝説の祭り. It's a nice and fun piece.
-Hana 花. Once you get the hang of the notes, it's actually very good.
-晴れる道~宇宙人に合わせる顔がねぇ!(Keroro Gunso 4th Japanese opening song).
-紅 Kurenai. It's not as hard as it seems to get 999 combo. Just need to fix the "triplets" portion of the notes so I can get through without a miss.
-月下美人 Gekka bijin. I can only full combo the advanced notes. It's true that the normal and master notes and harder.
-やわらか戦車 Yawaraka Sensha. This is a fun song although the last three big "don" are annoying.

Songs I don't like:
-Almost all the 2000 series song. Don't see the point to play those unless you're a master of the game. I can pass Saitama 2000 However.
-アルルの女 Daughter of Aruru. I just don't understand why I always miss the last part of the song.
-白鳥の湖 ~still a duckling~ Hakuchou no Mizumi ~still a duckling~. This is one of the most annoying songs. It's one of those songs that seemed easy, but it's not.

How about yours?

I can't help but notice the distinct lack of Surf Side Satie in the classical list. Gnossienne and Gymnopedie No.1 as a beach tune, come on!

Also, absolute favorites have to be:

MAGICAL SOUND SHOWER - OutRun, obviously, I love this song.

Surf Side Satie - For the above reason

Toccata, Fugue, and Rock - Such a rockin' cover

Namco Medley - A medley of classic Namco arcade games? Sweet.

Burning Force Medley - I loved the game, and I love this remake.

Gekkabijin - Favorite of this series.

Taiko Samurai - An oldie but goodie. Reminds me of Twin AmadeuS

DADDY MULK - Zuntata FUCK YEAH

Classical Medley (Wedding Story) - Awesome songs used to tell a hillarious story of a wedding day gone horribly wrong.

Fantasy Impromptu - These are just so well-written, it's not even funny.

Swan Lake ~still a duckling~ - SUPER HYPER saccharine vocals laid on top of a rockin' ska track is just too good to pass up.

七色ハーモニー - Rainbow Harmony - Love this song to death.

どん子のファーストデート - Don ko no First Date - I can't think of a reason other than I just like how it sounds.

われら無敵のドコン団 - ware ra muteki no dokon dan - Catchy as hell.

エゴエゴアタクシ - egoegoatakushi - Tu tutu tutu tutu tutu tutu tutu tutu tutu....

エンジェル ドリーム - Angel Dream - Catchy and electro-poppy.

伝説の祭り - Densetsu no Matsuri - It's just a REALLY well-written song with great vocals.

エリンギのエクボ - eringi no ekubo
ねこくじら - neko kujira
スクロール ミカ - Scroll mika
ダイエット パダライス - Diet Paradise
クレーンシティ - Crane City
わすれなぐさ - wasure nagu sa

I can't get enough of that singer. :P

Those are all my absolute favorites. Everything else I like, but not as much as those.

I have the world's largest love/hate relationship with Still a Duckling. That song is just too infectious for its own good.

I have a love/hate relationship with the 2000 series.I -love- the songs themselves, but the difficulty makes me tear my hair out.
(I can only barely 90%-UP the ones in DS1+2 on Muzukashii, for Oni..no,just no.)

Also TOUCH and maybe From the New World.
Both are too hard for their star rating(Muzukashii!TOUCH's too much
for 4 stars,Oni!From the New World's definitely too much for a mere 6 star)

Thunder and Lightning from PS2 can also be too much for a 8 star since it has over 800 notes... but it's not that difficult.

From The New World should be a 6 star - same reason as Thunder and Lightning

To me,From the New World is worth more than 6-stars,it's harder compared with other 6-star songs in DS2.Most startling is New World vs Destiny(you know, that one Beethoven composed, forgot the song's actual name),these two songs are so different in difficulty, yet they have the same amount of stars.

It's Beethoven's 5th Symphony [Fate]

Yeah, Fate is a little too overrated, it should only be 5 stars.

To me, there is a level of difficulty within each star's difficulty: for example...

6.1 stars (Easy 6 stars) - Like Beethoven 5th Symphony
6.3 stars (Moderate 6 stars) - Like DS1 Love so sweet
6.6 stars (Average 6 stars) - Like PS2 Eine Kliene Natchmusik
6.8 stars (Harder than most 6 stars) - Like From the New World

You get my drift? For example, let's put it in some of BN's famous songs

7.85 stars - Fuuun! Bachi Osensei
9.6 stars - Mekadesu
9.3 stars - Hyakkaryouran
9.5 stars - Gekkabijin
10.5 stars - The Carnivorous Carnival
9.5 stars - Angel Dream
9.4 stars - Kare Kano Kanon
9.8 stars - Saitama2000
10.4 stars - Koibumi2000
10.7 stars - Soroban2000
10.9 stars - Kita Saitama2000

Yeah, that's how I rate songs. X|

Songs I like:

All the 2000 series songs - their difficulty is awesome and they're fun to play.
Fantasia Impromptu - Classics + Rock = WIN.
Toccata and Fugue and Rock - same reason.
Menuet- same reason.
Angel Dream - one of my absolute favorites, plus the fact that hidden oni got added recently is pwnage.
Senpuu no Mai - adding lyrics to some traditional sounding Japanese music is a nice combo.
DON'T CUT - BN's first song in complete English is a success.
Yozakura Shanikusai - sounds like a groovy dance party, and for some reason I love it.
The Carnivorous Carnival - same reason.
Hakuchou no Mizuumi ~still a duckling~ - Classics + Pop = MOAR WIN.
Kare Kano Kanon - same reason.
Nocturne Op. 9-12 - Classics + Jazz = EVEN MOAR WIN.
Etude Op. 10-4 - same reason.
Hikari no Kanata e - also another one of my absolute favorites. If only the extended version used in the boss fight was put in again as a hidden oni...
The ac. songs - there is so much BN can do with an electrical guitar solo.
Rotter Tarmination - one of the most fun hidden oni beatmaps to play, and the song sounds awesome as well. I wonder if there are lyrics...
The Garyoutensei series - I like how they use traditional Japanese instruments to come up with some nice songs. Oh, and how there are 3 versions of a beatmap on oni mode.
Family Dondon - I love the 8-bit sound used for this song, and the characters underneath look so cute! ^.^
All the game medleys - hearing a rehash of classic Namco game music is win.

I don't have any songs I particularly dislike. All songs are great, but these are even better.

Hakuchou no Mizuumi is definitely ska, not pop. Big difference.

Also, Amazing Grace and SPARKING are all in English, well before DON'T CUT.

Oh, I HAVE TO ADD MANY WOW BANG TO THE LIKE LIST.

Oh whoops, didn't realize that. Thanks for clearing it up for me.

And yeah, how can I forget Many Wow Bang?

A few more songs to add:
The SORA songs - they just sound cool to me.
Hello! Halloween - having a Namco Halloween theme FTW!
Classic Medley (Rock, Wedding) - although I don't like these as much as the other classical remixes, they're still good. I hope they make more classic remixes in the future!
Yuugami no Kimi - I can't really tell what the song is about, but I like the theme in this.
Kikyoku series - a series of two (soon to be three) using a remix of the same song. Not only does it sound nice, but how they remix it, it somehow fits the title perfectly.
Future Robo - a nice techno-themed song, from the Mekadon series, I think?

That's all the new ones I'll add.

Metal Police-And more heavy metal.Got a GIGA BREAK air to me..
Senpuu no Mai-the song's style.Just...the style.
Hataraku2000-It's horribly weird,horribly hard to play,just the type you'll see in the 2000 series.Awesome.
Fuun!Bachi osensei-Both the short and long version.
Desert de Yakiniku-Kinda like that arabic style~
Rotter Tarmination-Weird yet awesome.And speeeedy.
Angel Dream-The vocals,the music...everything.Same with...
Kaze no Fantasy-..This.
Rumble Ranbu-It sounds really cool to me.(If it weren't for the name,it would fit just right in the Garyoutensei series)
