Siliconera Taiko no Tatsujin finds rhythm on the Wii

A Taiko no Tatsukin release on the Wii was discovered by way of passing reference on a yearly financial report. I sure hope no one else posted this already since I checked and everything. Little else is known about it; even the control method is up for speculation.

OMG! Finally, Taiko for Wii! Good arcade GUI once more!

According to speculation it should be out in 2008.

Also according to their trend, Taiko Wii *should* release on December. *keeps fingers crossed*

I'm burning with antcipation!

That's good and all, but how would it work? If they're selling a separate drum peripheral, then I'd be down shelling out money for a JP Wii and this.

But... it's strange... I know that BandaixNamco released Rhythm Tengoku, and that seemed a lot like Taiko, but just with waggles instead of drums... This is TAIKO no Tatsujin, not WAGGLE a lot and hope you do something right Tatsujin.

Most probably they would have a Tatakon connected directly to the Wii or to the Wiimote?

There is no way Nintendo would endorse 45Hz Wii Remote drumming anyway so I think this is most likely.
