Not sure if there are enough players to keep this going but anyway.

One blue line! Happened today at CHQ Metrotown in Canada.

Really want to play Ripples but well can't complain too much.

Awesome job!

If you're at that stage then here's some more songs I'd recommend that you should be able to excellent (and after I re-read it I realise this is rather patronising but I don't intend it to be like that...)

天体観測 (watch out for the bit that goes across the top then has a double below it near the beginning (twice); both times the double is in the same rhythm as the ones going across the top, unlike the music)

Speed King (just the "hey hey" parts are slightly out of standrd rhythm, but other than that it's constant all the way through)

My Love (as long as you remember where all the Ts and Ls come up you'll be fine)

Real voice is pretty simple but I don't remember the places to watch out for on that one... the same with Yell...

全力少年 is fairly non-problematic but watch out for the "impossible" hit just after the break towards the end --- you can either use your whole arm up to your elbow for the bottom row or arch your hands and hit three with each... And then 抱いてセニョリータ if you can get the threes timed ok...

Then finally 魁!ミッドナイト (the Elvis look-alike; only need to watch out for the vertical splits right at the start then this bit here):

xxxx
xxxx
3554
x12x

the timing is with the drum roll, but the second to last hit in the drumroll isn't hit, so: 1234-5

I look forward to seeing your scores!!!!

Oh and by the way keep this open because when I get back home next month I'll start posting too

My high scores for the songs you listed are
天体観測 987197
Speed King 988750
My Love 981125
Real voice 989942
全力少年 995739
魁!ミッドナイト 994972 (got this score 3 times, damn =P)

Also I got POP STAR at 992744.

Since there's no e-amuse I'm not in a hurry but it must be satisfying to get an EXCELLENT.

Deathfisaro, it's cool that you got everything excellent!
I think I would never have enough patience to play something so nicely and get all the notes perfect.

I just started playing jubeat (my id is 14400010577027), and so my jubeat songs are all basic level and not high scored, but I thought of joining this conversation .

凛として咲く花の如く 915437
BLUE BIRD 911966
夏祭り 903693
Special One 935657 (advanced was 852856)
SigSig 905365

Thank you =)

You have nice basic scores.
A lot of people jump right into extreme but I recommend playing all songs on basic then advanced then extreme.
(Unless they have lots of other rhythm game experience)
You'll probably improve the fastest this way.

I have no e-amuse (note the GUEST-01 in the above picture =P) shame I can't add people as friends.

Thank you! I hope I can improve fast.
If I get better I will post new scores here again.

I should take your advice to my heart and play basic songs more. But simple songs are not much fun to play, so I always play the ones I can just barely clear or still cannot clear... maybe that's the reason why I cannot improve in pop'n music .

It's a pity you cannot use e-amuse!
With an id you can also look up person's page, not only add a friend/rival. You add an id at the end of the link https://www.ea-pass.konami.jp/conten...ay_top.do?fid= (it should work without logging in). So if some of your friends can use e-amusement and you know their id, you can look up their game progress (if their profile is made public of course).

Easy songs may not be THAT fun, but your marker timing recognition will greatly improve which will help a lot later.

The reason I oppose repeatedly playing failed songs is that you're likely mash the notes and if it becomes a habit you will have a hard time raising your score.
If a complex pattern comes up, don't just mash through them but hit the ones you know are in beat. And for this playing basic and advanced will be a big help.

And I couldn't view your page, it says the profile is not open to public.

Oh and instead of e-amuse, I keep a spreadsheet for records. Only for Ripples new songs though, I can just look up my jubeat original play record online.

I will try not to rush through the songs to the higher level and keep on playing the easier ones then . I'll try to use this tactic for pop'n music as well.

Thank you for letting me know about my profile. I fixed it, it should be open to public now .

I look at my scores and songs I played using e-amusement system. But Konami makes you pay to be able to use it on your phone, so I don't know yet for how long will I keep my subscription. The jubeat record page online is for free luckily.

You're keeping a spreadsheet of your records! You put a lot of effort in your gameplay! That's why your scores are so nice

Because I want to play Ripples as long as possible, I keep a record and replay songs until I get SSS and Full Combo.

I can view your page now. 1 credit 4 songs? That's pretty neat. And you use the same marker as me-

So you live in Kyoto? I have a few friends who go to Ritsumeikan and Osaka University. So I picked up a little bit of Kansai ben =P

I want to attach my spreadsheet since this is an achievement thread but it might look like bullying or overkill.. Hmm..

If you're so eager to get SSS or Full Combo, I'm sure you will get it in no time.

I played 3, 4 and 5 songs for 100 yen. The place I go now to, has 4 songs for 1 game (for a limited time), and 5 songs for all music games on Thursday. It's a good deal to go and play there. And I found that the shutter is the easiest marker to use .

Haha, Kansai-ben! In fact I don't think I picked up any Kansai-ben in my own speech, but I hear it all the time around me. Btw, I go to Kyoto University. You're living in Vancouver, right?

I think you can attach the spreadsheet here, why not? There aren't many people posting here anyway . I could make the i-revo score keeper and post it here then (if it's possible).

My spreadsheet (a picture of, to be more exact)

Older pictures (from 13th and 14th) don't look as pretty as today's one up there.
They have a lot of blanks in FC area and nowhere close number of SSS.

Yeah I live in Vancouver. I don't think I have any contact in Kyoto Univ. You must be smart =P

Oh, I just noticed something interesting.
My Ashita Hareruya, Kimi Meguru Boku, Golden House, Sunaoninaretara, Chakra scores are higher on ADV than BSC while I have 1 play count on both difficulties for all of them.

By playing the song on basic first, I get to listen to the song and learn the beats. And that seemed to help with my ADV playthrough.

I'm spending way too much money so I think I might slow down and study a bit for the next couple days...

edit: The picture's way too big. Does anybody know how to shrink it?

Your scores look really great! It's such a pity you cannot use e-amuse and level up.

I will also try playing more basic songs. But I also want to try playing more advanced songs . I will try playing today something on basic level first and afterwards on advanced. I will visit Nijo castle and then go play jubeat a bit . And I will also study some in the evening .

My new score above 900000 is Golden House (basic) - 929965.

I think the picture size is ok, but if you want to shrink it, you might try reposting it at a smaller size. I don't know if there's a way to change the size through the options on the forum.

Hmm.. I tried resizing the picture but all the characters became illegible.
I wish there's an option in the forum that posts a thumbnail and gives you a fully blown picture when you click it. There has to be one, I just need to find it.

For the time being, here's the picture of my spreadsheet updated today.
Quite satisfied with the EXT scores, couldn't SSS 8 of the ADV songs I tried today but upgraded EXT scores of Kiss & Ride, Natsumatsuri and Baka Survivor. So I'm pretty happy.

Looks like it won't be long before your first SS. It took me a while before getting one, I blame the default marker =P
Thank god for Shutter, seriously.

Congratulations on improving your scores! I guess you can concentrate really good on the songs you're playing since you're aiming for SSS scores.

You were lucky to play 3 (?) games today . I didn't have much time after visiting the castle, so I played only 1 game... and as you foresaw, I got an SS! Nice! I got in on Golden House (basic) song - 955767. I also got better score on 凛として咲く花の如く and SigSig.

I haven't played Kiss & Ride and Baka Survivor yet. I will try it next time maybe.

Does a marker really helps that much? In fact I still haven't figured out how should I react to a marker. Of course I know I have to touch it when the marker closes down, but somehow it doesn't help me so much. Most of the time I go with the beat and press it on feeling .
