Not that I've heard. DDR X is probably higher priority, so we may be waiting a while

And even that is taking quite a while. Nevertheless, for the sake of everyone in the Western Hemisphere, DDR X must be released. Only after which can ubeat come out.

My two cents on this........

UBeat is not out yet, as stated. DDR X has been announced for a summer release (or spring... I can remember), and as for UBeat there has been no word. I would expect around the same time as X, but I would not be surprised if it never comes out.

no. and you should have said that first, or called the game Jubeat. Arcades are not going to import them because they could get it cheaper when it comes out in the U.S. when, and if it does.

Yup and maintenance and service support would be a nightmare if you choose to just import the machines unofficially.

Castlepark in Sherman Oaks has Ubeat, but it's only a test version of the game.

It's in a mall. That's already extended hours, considering the mall closes at 9:30. During the summer and winter school holidays I believe it is open until 12:00 am though.

It's out all over Singapore. I heard they're just testing the waters with it in Asia first before having it released officially in the US.

For those arcades in the US that imported Jubeat in, how do they manage the online mode for it? Just curious. Cause from playing, it seems the only servers are in Asia.

Just like any other E-amuse game... we have no service. And for Jubeat 1.. that means an extremely limited song list.. No level 10's and only 3 level 9's

Hell yes jubeat in metro arcade!
I was pretty certain either there or some folks in Richmond would import it anyway.

Too bad it doesn't have e-amuse as my favourite songs require e-amuse
(Nadesiko Rock especially)

One correction though, there should be 4 level 9 songs:
Happy Happy
"Heaven and Hell" (or whatever it's called in English=P)
Snow Goose
Polaris

But if it doesn't have e-amuse, what do I do with my card lol?

Edit: no e-amuse means 16 songs down, so that's what 43 songs... Not too bad. (And "casual" gamers wouldn't unlock a quarter to half of them before Ubeat comes out anyway?)
Just too bad there are a dozen GOOD ones in there.
