well, imho it's impossible to reach extra difficoult game levels, like in stepmania, itg, beatmania ecc... because you can see what you have to press in a very very very short time.. it's not like all the others bemani, where you can adjust the scrolling speed of the items...
and looks like you don't need to follow much the music in this game
I won't knock it completely before actually being able to play it, but from what I see, it looks really easy and pointless...I imagine if it IS just touching squares as they light up, that the OST would really have to make up for it.
Won't knock it completely means will knock it to some extent right? I won't deny there's a chance I might like this game. But I'm still going to knock it until I don't feel like playing it. :P

beatmania is just touching buttons and moving a disc.
DDR is just stepping on arrows.
pop'n music is just touching buttons.
and yet all of those games can be very challenging. Imagine it going fast enough that three or four start to light up before you hit the first note. It could potentially be very challenging and fun.

Don't know what to say... But I hope Konami can add some DIFFICUT stages into this game... *Thought of playing this with one-hand + move your arm around alot... ^^;*
